Pricing and add-ons
Always Meredith, or a painter she personally trusts. Meredith paints your event herself. In the rare case she can’t (it has happened only twice), she may suggest a proven painter she has worked with before and trusts to do her work.
Face painting
2-hour minimum ($300 minimum) · events up to 4 hours
- Meredith brings the table, chairs, professional paints, and her full kit
- Safe, FDA-compliant, water-based paints
- About 10 to 12 faces per hour, depending on the designs

- Every face painted by Meredith herself or, in a rare pinch, a proven painter she trusts
A 2-hour party is $300 and comfortably paints about 20 to 24 faces. Planning for more guests? Add time, up to 4 hours. If every face has been painted before the time is up, Meredith may wrap up a little early, as the minimum also covers the prep, travel, setup, and cleanup that happen behind the scenes.
Rates are set and the same for every family, so everyone receives the same care and quality. Meredith doesn’t negotiate, barter, or trade. For locations more than about a 25-minute drive away, your quote will include her hourly rate for the drive time.
Get a custom quoteBooking policy: a non-refundable 50% deposit holds your date and time. Once booked, your date is held exclusively for you, and Meredith may turn away other families who wanted it. Please value your face painter the way you would your caterer: by the time an event is cancelled, her brushes and kit have been cleaned, the design menu has been arranged, the car has been packed, and she has been planning and prepping for your celebration, often with babysitters arranged, and paid for, at home. For these reasons, deposits can’t be refunded, and event times can’t be changed within seven days of your event, including in the case of illness. Full payment is expected as outlined in your client form. Payment is by cash or the method confirmed in your quote; coupons, gift cards, vouchers, and trade can’t be accepted. Outdoor events need a covered workspace sheltered from sun and weather; if there is thunder or lightning and no indoor backup, painting pauses until it is safe to resume. Read the full policy.
Setup options
A pretty little station, wherever you are
All Meredith needs is a nice, covered, weather-protected spot, and she brings the rest. For outdoor parties without shade, add her 10×10 tent. For trunk-or-treats and casual events, she can work right from the back of her Grand Wagoneer at no extra charge. For outdoor events, add her professional event flag banner, and guests will find her in a flash (it stands 14 feet tall, so plan a little space for it).
